This public iron farm requires no interaction from the player and while it is a safe place to AFK, it often contains enough iron for a player to grab what they need upon arrival. Access is easy as it is located directly behind the overworld side of the nether portal. The iron from the farm is auto-crafted into iron blocks ready for collection. The copper AFK cage which contains the chests of iron is located high in the air above the sea, but the construction is so secure that it would require a deliberate effort to encounter any risk.
Accessing the Farm
If you are starting from the centre of the Nether Hub, enter the green / East tunnel on the left-hand side and you will see the entrance made of iron blocks at X121. From there you can travel straight down the path of iron pressure plates to the nether portal, this part of the journey is far more pleasant if you use a boat. There are iron trapdoors at the end of the tunnel, which will be triggered by the pressure plates, but they are easy to jump over. Once you are through the nether portal, you have arrived.
Things to bring
You may wish to bring a shulker box or two to hold the iron blocks and a boat to make travelling over the pressure plates more pleasant.
